Juan Williams

Juan Williams has just learned that old-school liberalism is no longer welcome in globalist circles.  Because of my conservative views, I’ve always considered him a spokesman for the left.  But many on the left have accused him of conservative leanings, based on his employment with the Fox network.  That sort of guilt by association is moderated by the fact that most traditional conservatives wouldn’t describe Fox as conservative — merely less liberal than other news networks.

NPR, which is notoriously liberal, canned Williams for airing his personal opinion on Fox that when he sees people in airports dressed in muslim garb, he has a momentary fearful reaction based on 9/11’s Islamic terrorist attacks.  He wasn’t saying anything that could be construed to deny equal rights to Muslims.  He was simply and honestly expressing a personal reaction, which I believe is shared by the majority of Americans.

The ideologues at CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) demanded NPR take action to stop Juan Williams from making such insensitive statements against Islam.  And the ideologues at NPR fired him.  The moral of the story is that in the ‘New World Order’ it doesn’t matter whether you are conservative or liberal.  But you must always tow the party line.  Freedom of speech is only allowed within the limits of political correctness, which is determined by those in power over you.  Michael Savage learned this last year when Britain banned him from their shores, in violation of their own laws and EU laws governing freedom of speech.  This is another example of what Savage refers to as, “pan Leninism” in his new book, Trickle Up Poverty.

Juan Williams’ story points out a fundamental contradiction in globalist/socialist thinking.  While criticizing any number of laws and policies as “unfair”, Islamic apologists insist upon special treatment, which on its face is unfair.  While groups like the ACLU are doing everything they can to remove all Biblical references from public places, especially schools, the study of Islam is actually being introduced into public schools.  What is fair about that?  The dirty little secret (for those who think all religions are the same) is that Biblical religions foster freedom, which is Islam’s anathema.  Pan-Leninist globalists approve of Islam for the time-being because Islam is all about controlling every aspect of everyone’s life.  Once people are used to being controlled by one organization, they can be controlled by anyone.

I grew up in the age of discussion, a time when opposing views were bounced back and forth like a ball in a civilized sport.  But one side didn’t always have to beat the other side.  Sometimes, decision-makers were able to make compromises.  Most people seemed OK with this.  But now we live in the age of ignorance.  Fewer and fewer people actually listen to or consider their opponents’ arguments.  Increased political correctness limits the acceptability of certain opinions thereby clamping down on freedom of speech.  And what passes for ‘debate’ nowadays is a combination of talking point sound bytes and character assassination.  That’s the sad part.

If you are a free thinker who refuses to go along with the group think, you are labeled an idiot, extremist, racist, sexist, homophobe or worse.  And if you don’t agree with the latest thing they’ve “re-invented” you are labeled a flat-earther.  It doesn’t matter how much experience or education you have, how many books you’ve written or how much recognition you have earned.  If you don’t tow the party line, you’re out, whether you are a politician, a commentator or even a scientist, because the prime agenda of the pan-Leninists (global socialists) is to control us.  NPR was unable to control Juan Williams, so they fired him.  But no one can tell me this man is a bigot.  His credibility has gone up a notch while NPR has been exposed for the intolerant propaganda tool they are.

About retiredday

I am Michael D. Day, a regular, everyday guy -- retired. I stand for God-given freedom, which means I think for myself. I believe in being civil, because the Bible teaches that we should love our enemies. But I also believe in saying it how I see it, and explaining just why I see it that way, sort of like 2 Timothy 4:2.
